The Many Faces of Korea

These are part of the National Folk Museum of Korea located right next to the Gyeongbokgung Palace. The museum depicts the daily life and culture of Korea. There are a number of outdoor areas as well as indoor exhibits, and what's best is that it's free!

The building and its gate are to protect a special stone in commemoration of royal commendation for Heo Gweon (1847-1895) as a filial son.

The Chinese Zodiac is a 12 year cycle. Each year is represented by a different creature.
