The National Folk Museum of Korea is a free museum located next to
Gyeongbokgung Palace. The museum depicts the daily life and culture of
Korea. There are a number of outdoor areas as well as various indoor
exhibits for both children and adults to enjoy.
The pictures here are mainly about the cultural events events throughout the life of Koreans years ago (some of which still play a role even today). It is worth it to read the explanations to get a better understanding of each event.

A wedding ceremony - I believe the duck (or is it a pair of ducks)
on the table symbolizes peace, fidelity, and many children. |
The
hanbok (traditional garb) is still worn today on special occasions. Some museums even offer free entrance on Korean holidays to those wearing a
hanbok.
